Ducati have provided Danilo Petrucci with upgrades for the final four rounds of the World Superbike Championship.
Danilo Petrucci and the Barni Spark Racing Team are heading into their final four rounds together ahead of the Italian's move to BMW in 2026.
Despite leaving Ducati at the end of the season to move to a rival manufacturer, Petrucci will be given upgrades at Magny-Cours and will decide the direction that his team should go in for the final four rounds.
In 2024, Petrucci stood on the podium in all three races at the French World Superbike Round, and hopes to be back on the rostrum again this weekend.
"Magny-Cours is a track I really like," Petrucci said ahead of the French Round.
"Last year we scored a great number of points, with three podiums that made us the fastest riders of the weekend. I know it will be difficult to replicate that result, but my goal is to continue fighting for third place in the championship and try to earn as many points as possible.
"I trained hard over the summer, I'm happy to be back on the bike and hope to be able to finish on the podium as many times as possible."
Team Principal, Marco Barnabo, added: "With Danilo, our goal remains the same as we set at the start of the season: to finish in the top three in the championship.
"We had planned two evolutions on the bike for the final races, and we'll take them to the track, following the established path. One of these will be tested at Magny-Cours. We're confident we can reach our goal, and everyone is determined to do so."
With four rounds left of the 2025 World Superbike Championship, Petrucci finds himself third in the standings after 24 races, he has seven podiums, and 233 points to his name.
