With MGM Bonovo Racing reportedly on its way out of World Superbikes, Bmax Racing is expected to enter the series on a full-time basis.
The 2025 World Superbike Championship saw six teams enter the series with the Ducati Panigale V4 R, with eight riders competing on the Italian machine.
Ducati Panigale V4 Rs have been run by Aruba.it Racing - Ducati, Barni Spark Racing, Team Pata GoEleven, ELF Marc VDS Racing, Motocorsa, and MGM Bonovo.
However, it is expected that the MGM Bonovo Racing Team will withdraw from World Superbikes at the conclusion of the 2025 season.
But it has been reported by Motosprint that a team has already applied to take MGM Bonovo Racing's place on the 2026 World Superbike grid.
Bmax Racing, which has been a regular wildcard team in the World Superbike Championship, want to become a full-time World Superbike team next season, and will reportedly wildcard in the 2025 season finale at Jerez.
According to information from Motosprint, Bmax Racing team boss Massimo Buna has already ordered two new V4 Rs from the Italian manufacturer, and Gabriele Ruiu is expected to be the Italian team's rider.
The Italian rider has already appeared as a wildcard rider at the Italian World Superbike Round earlier this season. However, he did not have a successful weekend as he only finished the Superpole Race in 21st place with Bmax Racing.
