Chloe Jones completed a strong rookie season in third place in the 2025 Women's Circuit Racing World Championship.

For the 2025 season, GR Motosport made its way from the British Superbike paddock into the FIM Women's Circuit Racing World Championship, with rookie rider Chloe Jones.

The British rider and team had an extremely positive rookie season in the Championship, as they featured on six podiums across the twelve-race season, with their first podium in the class coming at their home circuit, Donington Park.

Jones' consistency throughout her rookie year saw her end the season in third place in the Championship. The 21-year-olds best result this season was second place, which was a result she secured on five occasions.

"Jerez really gave us everything this weekend, the heat, the pressure, and some tough battles on track," Jones said after the FIM Women's Circuit Racing World Championship finale.

"Nothing came easy, but I kept my head down, stayed focused, and pushed right until the last lap. To end the season P3 in the World Championship in my rookie year is something I’m incredibly proud of. It’s been a year full of learning, growth, and unforgettable experiences.

"This season has taught me so much about racing, about pressure, and about enjoying every moment on the bike.

"Thank you to everyone who’s supported me from day one. I couldn’t have done it without you. We’ll take everything we’ve learned and hopefully come back even stronger next season."

Brent Gladwin, GR Motosport Managing Director, added, "World WCR 2025 has been incredible for our small but highly skilled Team. Based here in Sheffield, we took on the new challenge of a World Championship with a rookie rider and ended as the highest-placed British rider and Team in all the World Championship classes.

"A hard-fought 3rd overall and top Rookie, in the 12 races we scored: 6 podiums (5x 2nd and 1x 3rd), 2 pole starts and, 3 lap records, using a new bike and on circuits Chloe had not seen before.

"I would like to say the highlight was the first podium at Donington, but there was so much more... thank you to Chloe, my incredible Team and our partners, it’s been epic."
