Marcos Ramirez will move to the World Supersport Championship with the QJMotor Factory Racing Team in 2026.

After nine years in the Grand Prix paddock across the Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships, Marcos Ramirez will enter the World Supersport paddock in 2026.

The Spaniard was supposed to continue with the American Racing Team for the 2026 Moto2 season, but his deal was terminated, as the squad signed Filip Salac as his immediate replacement.

Ramirez was offered a lifeline by a factory World Supersport squad for next year, an offer that the Spanish rider accepted as he has signed for the QJMotor Factory Racing Team.

He will replace the retiring Niki Tuuli for the Chinese manufacturer and will partner with Raffaele de Rosa, who is entering his third season with QJMotor.

"I’m incredibly excited to start the new season with the QJMotor Factory Racing Team," said Ramirez.

"I’m highly motivated to be part of this ambitious new project and can’t wait to work with the team and get to know the SRK800RS.

"We have a lot of important work ahead of us this winter to be as prepared as possible."

During his time in the Grand Prix paddock, Ramirez claimed two race wins and eight further podiums across the Moto2 and Moto3 Championships.
