Buildbase/JHP Ducati's Leon Morris continues to lead the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge riding the the Ducati of which he can't praise enough or stop smiling about.

Despite not winning at his home circuit breaking his 100% winning streak of the season so far, the Stockbridge rider did start from pole and still has much to celebrate about the season so far. Morris said: 'I couldn't have asked for a better start than this. It was a real last minute sort of thing to get the deal, we started to get the bike and one thing led to another.'

'It hasn't been easy there are always five or six people at the front end of the grid that are always close and always on your tail. I rode a Ducati when I was in British Superbikes, I rode the 848 last year and the new bike is improved. I have to say I absolutely love it's the best bike I've ever ridden. It just puts a smile on my face everytime I get on it, I've never enjoyed it as much as I am at the minute, I can't speak highly enoungh about it at the minute.'

'I really love the bike and the series, last year was a bit disappointing but that was out of everybody's hand, but to be in a main stage event like this is fantastic.  This series did great. It is only eight rounds long so that's good with time off work and you get to visit Monza and Assen.'

Despite being selected for the then existing 'Kick Up a Gear' award with Airwaves Yamaha Morris's time in BSB was not his happiest but even so Morris longs and aims to return to the paddock.

He said: 'I hated the season I had in BSB but I do long to be back in this paddock full time doing something whether that be back on a Superstock or whereever, this is the main stage. This is the pinnacle of bike racing in this country, it is obviously a natural step that everyone wants to take.'

Talking about his winning streak and dominating results of this season, he said: 'We have got such a good base setting, once you have cracked this there isn't much you have to do to change the bike to suit each track. Just fine tuning but at Thruxton yes, it is a bit of a compromise because of the track.'

'JHP set the bike up, he set up last years and it was absolutely perfect, we've used those settings this year and yet again it's perfect. To have someone like that to help us who has worked with the likes of Michael Rutter and John Laverty, it's brilliant I have got a lot of confidence in him and it's shown in the results. Now that we are there there isn't that much to check.'

Morris next ventures out on track at the beginning of July where he goes to the circuit and event he is most excited about, Monza.
