Parkingo Yamaha's Chaz Davies has contined his fast form from this morning at has taken provisional World Supersport pole at Monza this lunchtime ahead of team-mate Luca Scassa while Londoner Gino Rea put in a late run of fast laps to take third place.
Welshman Davies went round in 1'48.408, just over a tenth faster than Italian Scassa while Rea, who spent much of the session in the bottom half of the timesheet, left it until literally the last minute to lap in 1'48.613 while Ten Kate Honda's wunderkind Florian Marino did the same to take fourth but is half a second further back.
Motocard Kawaskaki's Broc Parkes is fifth fastest with Roberto Tamburini in sixth. Crocked Sam Lowes is in seventh place and a second off the pace but stayed in front of David Salom on the second works Kawasaki with Fabien Foret and Miguel Praia rounding out the top ten. Bogdanka Honda's James Ellison is in 13th.
