125GP | YOUNGSTER LOOKING FOR 2008 125 OR 600 RIDE

An up-and-coming 125cc racer from Northamptonshire is desperately looking for a ride for 2008 after his team decided to pull out of racing.
Sean Moore has only been racing since 2002 but has swiftly made an impression in all the championships he’s raced in. Last season he was thrown in at the deep end in the British 125GP championship on an under-developed machine and on a shoestring budget.
A proven winner and champion, for 2008, Sean’s found himself without a ride following his team pulling out of racing, but he’s desperately hungry for success and eager to carry on his race career.
Which goes a little something like this:

2002/03: Minimoto racing. Sean came 3rd in
the Junior B Championship, 2nd in the Junior
A Championship and 1st in the Senior A
Championship. In two years of competition,
Sean won 28 races and was on the podium
many times.

2004: Sean moved up to the Conti GP50
machine, coming 4th in the Conti
Championship and winning the British GP 50
Championship where he won 12 of the
15 races.

2005: Sean raced the Jawa GP 80 in the East
Midlands Racing Association (EMRA) Jawa GP
series. Sean won the 16-race series, winning
the chance of a supported 125GP machine for
the 2006 season from series sponsors
Phoenix Racing. Highlights of the year also
included being awarded Rider of the Day at
one of the Mallory Park races and gaining his
Clubmans Race Licence.

2006: Despite being the youngest rider in the
EMRA 125 Championship and riding a fairly
standard Honda RS125, Sean manages to
secure second in the series behind much
more experienced riders aboard more exotic
machinery, earning his national licence. This
brings him to the attention of Dave Cooper
Racing, who takes him on board for 2007.

2007: Making his debut in the British 125GP
Championship, Sean only races at eight of the
13 rounds due to budgetary constraints. On a
development machine and despite suffering a
number of DNFs, Sean soon improves and is
able to register a best finish of 16th place at
Mallory Park.

2008: Despite having a two-year deal,
problems with the sponsorship of the team
have left Sean high-and-dry for a ride in
2008. Sean would love to continue his career
in the British 125GP series or ride in the
British Superstock 600 series.
