William Dunlop, who so recently lost his father Robert in a crash at the NorthWest 200, will be making an appearance at ThundersportGB's Brands Hatch meeting this weekend.
Dunlop has ridden short circuits before, but usually as a warm-up for public roads or to comply with the TT Mountain licence criteria
The Northern Ireland rider will be aboard a KRP125 in the GP3 class. Series boss Dave Stewart said: "We are very supportive of William and admire the whole family's fortitude and strength of character at this difficult time.
"No-one will be more delighted than us if we could see William standing on the top step of the Thundersport podium. We are certain that he will go on to great things in the main British Championship in due course."
