WSBK Brands Hatch | QUICK MOTOR FOR ANDREWS THIS WEEKEND

Emerging British Superbike star Simon Andrews is going all out for championship points at Brands Hatch World Superbikes this weekend, and looking forward to mixing with with likes of Troy Bayliss and Max Biaggi.

And the man 23-year-old from Evesham should be in with a shout as his Lloyds British Jentin team have built a WSB-spec motor for its Yamaha R1 for the occasion.

Andrews said: I have been training hard and the team are sorting a completely new engine for Brands Hatch so I am excited about the event," said Andrews. "I have competed in the European Superstock championship in the past; so I have been in the World Superbike paddock before.

"I am now beginning to find success in BSB but WSB is where I want to be in the future so I am aiming for a points scoring finish in each race on Sunday.

"I will be up against some really world class riders including ex-MotoGP guys like Max Biaggi and Carlos Checa so I need to be realistic as to my chances. I will be going out there on Sunday and giving it my best."
