Aragon WSBK: 'It's nice to be up the front for once' - Camier

Alitalia Aprilia's Leon Camier has half-joked it will be nice to see when the World Superbike start lights go out with his own eyes tomorrow at Motorland Aragon as he is actually close enough to watch it.

The former British Superbike Champion had his best qualifying for some times this afternoon in Superpole, sticking it on the front row between team-mate Max Biaggi and series leader Carlos Checa. He says he has found some confidence in the front end which, in recent races, hasn't been there.

"Honestly, it's nice to be up the front for once and to be able to see the lights go out with my own eyes. It will be good not to have to make my way through the pack and see what we can do from the front row," said the lanky Kent youngster.

"From the start, and with the last race at Misano fresh, we decided to make some changes to my RSV4 to get back some confidence. So we made a few isetup changes and now the feeling is good. Now I'm enjoying the result, but I want to stay focused for the races tomorrow."
