BMW Italia's James Toseland has ruled himself out of any further World Superbike action at Brno this weekend after this morning's first free practice session.
The two-time champion is still in a lot of pain after his Motorland Sragon testing crash and wrote on his Facebook page: "“Had a run out this morning to get up to speed, unfortunately I have to sit out the rest of the weekend and get fully fit for Silverstone."
Italian ambulance chaser Lorenzo Lanzi was already waiting in the wings to take over this afternoon and will ride the S1000RR in first qualifying.
