Germany WSBK: Ellison finally finds setup confidence

Bogdanka Honda's James Ellison recorded his best World Supersport qualifying result of the season so far this afternoon at the Nurburgring and was unlucky to be bumped off the front row for tomorrow's encounter.

The Kendal man was sitting pretty until a lap by poleman Fabien Foret saw a then all-Brit front row shuffled back a place and Ellison was moved back to the head of row two but he is still full of confidence.

"The changes that the team made to the bike over the summer break made it feel just like at the start of the season at Phillip Island and Donington Park, and made me feel really confident. It allowed me to put the team where we should be. I was hoping for a front row but I'm still confident and I'm really looking forward to the race. We've put a lot of fast laps together and I know we'll have a good race," said Ellison.
