World Superbike racing's governing body, the FIM, have this afternoon released the official 2012 calendar and there are no surprises on it whatsoever, save for the disappearance of the now mythical Sepang round which comes and goes every year.
It all kicks off as usual at Phillip Island at the end of February, then there's a month break before the European rounds start at Imola. The Supersport crews will not be required to pack for the Miller Motorsport Park round but they are going to Moscow - and there's no Superstock at Donington Park.
The season finale has switched from the lovely Portimao where we are right now to the less lovely Magny-Cours for no reason that we can fathom other than money.
