Factory BMW's Leon Haslam had to recover from a highside at the Aragon World Superbike test after taking evasive action to avoid a Supersport rider.
The Derbyshire man crashed when he came back on track but was able to work through a programme of upgrades to his S1000RR including another new electronics upgrade.
“Today we did some good work. Obviously yesterday we had bad luck with the weather, but today we managed to test nearly all the items we had on our list and get information for the race weekend. I had a small crash mid-morning, which was not so good," said Haslam.
"I went off the track to miss a 600cc rider and coming back I had a highside but after that we worked a lot with the other bike, tested a lot of parts and I am pretty happy. I think we are now well prepared for the race weekend. It’s good that we have had this test. We could try things for the weekend and for the future so for me it is very positive.”
