AP Broome Racing will honour Slingshot's Jim Stock by racing in his colours at the Mallory Park Thundersport finale next month.

Mr Stock passed away this week and the team will be in Slingshot Racing livery for the whole weekend as mark of respect for Mr Stock, who was universally liked and respected.

"Jim played a big part in our race team helping out with everything from advice to supplying bikes and parts, he also became good friends with all the team members and will be sadly missed. It’s been a massive blow to the team to say the least. Our thoughts go out to all his family. It’s going to be strange attending race meeting without having to  drop off parts to Jim’s other customers," said team spokesman Jim Nixon
