2012 Macau GP: First qualifying postponed after crash

Today's opening Macau Grand Prix qualifying session was stopped after just ten minutes and then postponed until tomorrow morning following a crash involving Luis Carreira.

Details on the incident are scant at this time but the red flags were shown when the Portugese rider crashed in sector three of his third lap.

When the session was stopped, Michael Rutter was leading the way with Martin Jessopp and John McGuinness next along.
