Kawasaki's Alastair Seeley will have to start this year's Vauxhall North West 200 Supersport and Superbike races in the second group after failing to qualify for both classes.
Following a stewards' meeting at the Irish circuit, Seeley wasn't given dispensation to join the first group of riders. He didn't qualify during Tuesday’s dry practice after he struck machine problems and today’s practice was wet preventing him from posting any faster times.
He is, however, in pole position for both Superstock races, the first of which is tonight. Last year, Michael Rutter won the Superstock race on corrected time after starting in the second group.
