With a considerable bit of down time on the Isle of Man due to the inclement weather, John McGuinness and Simon Andrews have been filling their time by sipping gin and tonics in the hot tub installed adjacent to McGuinness' motorhome. Don't ask....
McGuinness spent most of Tuesday at Jurby airfield and completed almost 50 laps on the improved Mugen Honda that he'll ride in the TT Zero race.
Andrews, meanwhile, accompanied Michael Rutter to a school in Kirk Michael to give a talk about riding at the TT, which went down well apart from one child, who sat there very quietly hugging his knees. Andrews said: "That was me at school, all shy with a monobrow…"
Lee Johnston originally withdrew from competing in the Superbike races on the Moto Rapido Ducati Panigale due to the leg injuries he sustained at Thruxton in mid-April but will now line up on a Honda Fireblade for the East Coast Racing team.

However, the Scot is sporting a black eye and heavily bandaged arms after crashing heavily on his Enduro bike a week before leaving for the island!
