Former Moto3 star Danny Webb got his first taste of World Supersport action at the Nurburgring WSBK round and bagged a 23rd place finish in his first race on a 600cc four-stroke.
The Kent youngster, who split with the Ambrogio GP team, hadn't ridden a Supersport bike before save for a day at the Ron Haslam Race School, so was pleased to see the chequered flag after a spill in warm-up.
"It was a good experience, I learnt loads in the race. The main thing is I need to learn to use new tyres because I am doing the same lap times at the start and end of the race. It has been a good weekend for my first time on the bike. I'd like to thank PTR for getting my bike ready after a warm up crash, the team is awesome and I am looking forward to Turkey," said Webb.
