Fixi Suzuki's Leon Camier has been taken to hospital following a massive highside in the first World Superbike free practice session at Istanbul with a suspected broken foot and other leg injuries.

The Kent rider was spat off his GSX-R1000 through the fast turn eight and the circuit medical team deemed it necessary for a hospital trip for a more detailed and in-depth assessment of his injuries.

Camier hadn't fully recovered from the Nurburgring crash two weeks ago which left him with a lack of feeling in his arm. We will update this story when more information becomes available.
