Buildbase BMW’s Michael Dunlop has declared himself happy with the S1000RR he will champion at this year’s Isle of Man TT following another day’s testing at Donington Park.
It was the Ballymoney man’s first ever ride at the Leicestershire circuit and his second run on the Superbike. He lapped at 1’35.087, which was only half a second slower than rival Ian Hutchinson.
"It's been a good day, considering it's only my second time on the BMW and first time ever at Donington Park. The bike feels great and I think it will fly at the TT. I've spent the day getting used to the bike and spending as much time out on track as possible. So far it's all pretty grand,” he said.
