Milwaukee Yamaha’s Josh Brookes has revealed the special RST leathers and Arai he will wear for this year’s Isle of Man TT fortnight.

The Australian, who is currently second in the MCE British Superbike title chase, has opted for an all-white colour scheme with red logos as an astronaut replica.

Last year, Brookes had his orange newcomers’ wally bib made into his suit and this year wanted to do something equally striking for practice and race week.

“Last year’s leathers made such an impact that lots of people wanted me to do something special again so we decided on the astronaut helmet and suit, as I feel like riding this place at speed is comparable with going to into space,” said Brookes, speaking to bikesportnews.com from the TT paddock.
