BMW Italia’s Leon Camier has flown to the Sepang World Superbike round despite severely damaging his arm in a qualifying crash at Donington Park which saw his left bicep almost cut in half.
The former MCE British Superbike Champion has a spill on the exit of Schwantz and the screen of his S100RR bit through his arm.
“It feels ok but I’ve got to give it as much time as possible to heal. I will have to see the doctor at Sepang when I get there and get it cleared,” said Camier, speaking to bikesportnews.com.
“A scan the other day showed it was starting to heal so hopefully the scar tissue is holding it together.”
