After months of speculation, Aprilia will make a return to the World Supebrike Championship in 2016 after coming to an arrangement with Ioda Racing as the team switches away from MotoGP.

Ioda will run two factory-spec RSV4s and expect to test next week at Mugello. Alex De Angelis will run one of the bikes and the second seat could go the way of Efren Vaquez. Ayrton Badovini has also been linked to the team, as has Lorenzo Savadori, according to our stout colleagues at Speedweek.com.
