Jerez de la Frontera will remain as the penultimate date on the WorldSBK calendar, series bosses confirmed this lunchtime.

It was thought the Andalucian track would disappear as it couldn’t find a way to make any money from hosting the championship and be replaced by Valencia but a new deal has been struck.

WorldSBK will attend the circuit over the weekend of October 22.
