TT 2017 practice has been curtailed after one lap as mist descended on the Mountain and rider Dave Sellers crashed unhurt at the Gooseneck.
Riders were allowed out on a second lap but escorted by travelling marshals from Ramsey as visibiity was down to 100 metres at Brandywell and due to the conditions, the air-med helicopter cannot fly.
From a standing start, Ian Hutchinson was fastest on the Superbike, setting a 128.987mph lap, followed closely by Michael Dunlop on a 127.228. Dean Harrison ended in third with a 126.157 while Dan Kneen, who said he was crusing over the Mountain on his Superstocker, put in a 125.188 for fourth. Peter Hickman - also Superstock-mounted - finished in fifth with a 124.900, Conor Cummins sixth with a 124.738 and James Hillier took seventh on a 124.519.
