Silicone Kawasaki’s Dean Harrison has started his 2018 TT campaign with some scorching Supersport laps, setting a 125.797 with his second lap on the ZX-6R to top the middleweight timesheets.
Harrison spent his evening on the Supersport bike with four of his laps over the 124mph mark and he had the top two times with his second fastest and fifth lap completed at 125.392 while his sixth lap was a 125.243 meaning three of the top five fastest laps were Harrison’s.
Michael Dunlop set a 125.741 but that was from a standing start on his third lap before he jumped off the Honda and jumped on the Paton Supertwin.
Ramsey’s Conor Cummins set the initial pace with a 125.152 with his second lap and that was enough for third place with fellow Manxman Dan Kneen in fourth place, setting a 124.703 on his fourth lap.
Peter Hickman put in one flying lap on the Trooper Triumph and the 124.447 was enough for fifth. Lee Johnston took sixth with a 123.245 with James Hillier seventh on a 122.967 from a standing start on his fifth lap.
William Dunlop was seventh on a 122.755 set from a standing start with McAMS Yamaha’s Josh Brookes in eighth on a 122.109. Ivan Lintin was ninth and James Cowton tenth.
