Glenn Irwin eyeing Isle of Man TT debut

Glenn Irwin is planning an assault on the Isle of Man TT next year. But is not as yet certain what he will be riding or with which team it will be with.

The Ulsterman, obviously no stranger to road racing having recently won at the North West 200, has been struggling in Bennetts British Superbikes. He changed crew chief for Donington Park and hopes now for greater things.

As Dean Harrison proved, Kawasaki are capable of winning a TT but as a rookie Irwin will take some time to learn the 37.73 mile Mountain Course.

Irwin, who motored to the Island with some friends in a small rib, said:”I am interested in doing it but nothing is settled yet. We will see.”
