American teenager Anthony Alonso will re-join Steve Patrickson's SP125 squad and again contest the British Motostar Championship in 2014.
Backed by the bayarearidersforum.com, Alonso rode with Patrickson's squad last year and comes back with full track knowledge on his 125cc two-stroke and make a play for the dingers trophy.
“I loved my time with the SP125 Racing guys. They are all very supportive, professional and helped me a lot. My teammates are awesome and I can’t wait to go back and drink tea with them again," said Alonso.
“I learned a lot in 2013 and I intend to put it all to work in BSB. The Championship is very strong and I know I will face tough competition but I’m ready. I have upped my training methods and I’m in great shape.
I am so happy that BayAreaRidersForum.com will continue to support my dream. Bud saw me ride when I was just five years old and it is good to know he, and the entire BayAreaRidersForum.com online community still believe in me. They have seen me go from PocketBIkes to MiniBikes to Grand Prix Motorcycles.”
