Simon Andrews and Karl ‘Bomber’ Harris will be honoured at this weekend’s Snetterton MCE British Superbike with a flypast of a B-17 Flying Fortress and a Tornado GR4 from RAF Marham.
Simon, who lost his life at the North West 200, traditionally ran the number 17 and it will be a poignant tribute to the Evesham man, who rode for the RAF Reserves Honda team. Karl died in an accident in the Superstock TT after spending most of his career in the BSB paddock.
The RAF Reserves Honda Fireblade and Karl’s 1999 Superstock EC-winning GR Motorsport Suzuki will be on display and the flypast is scheduled for just after 1pm on Sunday.
