Ben Gautrey's attitude 'inspirational' says team boss

MWR Kawasaki team boss Mark Webster has paid tribute to his rider Ben Gautrey, who was killed in an accident at Cadwell Park on Monday, saying the youngster had an inspirational attitude to racing.

Webster issued a team statement which reads:

involved with every aspect of racing and was a pleasure to have around and to work with. The way he went about his  racing was truly inspirational and his knowledge of the sport was far in advance of his years.

He always had a smile on his face and was an immensely popular character around the paddock, as were all of his family who turned up to support him at every meeting.

The team are all truly devastated and our deepest condolences go out to all his family and friends.
