It will be held at St Cuthberts Church, Churchtown, Southport at 2pm on Wednesday September 7. The church in the centre of Churchtown village by the two pubs. Tracks by Genesis and Phil Collins will be played as they were Ben's favourite musicians.
A spokesman for the family said: "Ben, as you all know, loved bikes and we as a family would like to see as many as possible at the service. The bikes will be meeting at 1pm at McDonald's at the front in Southport, next to the pier on the coastal road.
"The aim is to leave at 1.30pm to reach the church for 1.40. We are not escorting the coffin as the hearse is to be horse-drawn and the rest of the family will be walking with the hearse as it is only a short distance from Ben's family home.
"We have had Ben 25 stickers made that will be on sale on the day for a suggested donation of one pound or whatever sum you see fit. The proceeds of sales will go to the air ambulances that attend the BSB meetings, Ben didn't make it to the helicopter in time but these donations could help to save another racer's life.
"After the service it will be family only at the burial, however across the road at Meols Hall we have arranged an after-service event to celebrate Ben's life. There will be a hog roast and bar etc and we would love you all to attend and share your stories of Ben's life with each other. Please come as you normally dress and as Ben knew you, try and find something green and orange as it was the team colours if you can."
