Teenager and British 125GP top-ten finisher Callum Bey has signed to ride for Mark Hodgson's RCD Motorsport squad in 2012 and hopes to put in a serious challenge for the title next season.
Bey began 20-11 slowly but as the year progresse he started to find his feet and his confidence grew. With these improved results and heightened confidence Bey began to show some of the raw talent that the teenager possesses. Bey's best finishes of the season came at Snetterton & Brands Hatch where he came home in eighth place. These were backed up with other top ten finishes coming in the secnd half of the season.
"I am so excited about working with Mark Hodgson and his team. I really know I can do the team proud and I'm better than the results from 2011 reflect. 2012 will see me put the RCD Motorsport Honda on the podium. I appreciate all the work my mum and dad have done to ensure I got this competitive ride and all the sponsors who have supported me since I first started racing," said the young Scotsman.
