'Both my riders know what they have to do' says Swan boss

Swan Yamaha boss Shaun Muir will neither confirm nor deny team orders are in place for this weekend's British Superbike final at Brands Hatch this weekend, saying only that both Tommy Hill and Michael Laverty are aware of what they have to do this weekend.

Hill is just eight points behind John Hopkins in the title chase while Laverty still has a mathematical chance of winning but it will take a force majeure or a big crash for him to have a realistic chance.

"Both my riders know what they have to do this weekend and that is as far as it goes. They can both win the title although Tommy has a better chance than Michael. We want the championship trophy in the Swan Yamaha garage come Sunday night, one way or another," said Muir, speaking to bkesportnews.com this morning.
