Bradley Ray will start the opening British Superbike race of the weekend from pole position at Cadwell Park.
The iconic Superpole Qualifying format returned at Cadwell Park, and the 2022 British Superbike Champion, Bradley Ray, had to reacclimatise himself to it for the first time since his title-winning season.
However, the Raceways Yamaha rider was able to put in another storming lap around Cadwell as he set a new all-time British Superbike lap record around the circuit.
This was the sixth pole position that Ray has secured on a Saturday during the 2025 British Superbike season.
"It was a tricky lap time to be honest," Ray told TNT Sports after the Superpole Qualifying session.
"It is one of those where you just have to commit to it, especially around here. You have one lap and you have got to be fast, smooth, and you need to hit your brake markers.
"I was trying to brake as late as possible, but not too late, and focus a little more on the exit of the corners today.
"It was a good lap, if I could do it again, I am sure I could improve in some small areas. Overall, I am super happy to be able to do one lap that put me on pole, and I enjoyed that I haven't done that since 2022."
The Championship leader will be joined on the front row by the Nitrous Competitions Racing Yamaha rider of Kyle Ryde, and the Honda Racing UK rider of Tommy Bridewell.
