Former Centurion Honda rider Tom Grant is in talks with the Hydrex Honda British Superbike team to run Guy Martin's Supersport CBR600 at the Cadwell Park round – but Grant will have to find some funding for the ride which is the reason he had to part with the Centurion team in the first place.
Grant is currently lying seventh in the British Supersport Championship and is desperate to get back on the grid for Cadwell Park in order to finish the year on a high.
"We're really keen to run Tom at Cadwell Park as there is a natural break in Guy's road racing activities, so the bike will be available to ride," said Hydrex team boss Shaun Muir, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning.
"As with all things, though, the finances need to be in place to do it, so Tom is now re-starting his search for some sponsors. I think he is a rider with plenty of potential and would like to see him fulfil it. We will help him as much we can."
