Buildbase BMW’s James Westmoreland will try a new setup direction during the hour-long MCE British Superbike test session at Brands Hatch tomorrow.
The Yorkshireman is aiming to emulate his performance in last year’s championship and secure a place in the Showdown, and after getting some information from the BMW factory, will take some inventive setup steps.
“It’s felt like a very long winter! I’m thrilled to be on the eve of racing again. Our testing has gone well, and we have had somesupport from the BMW Motorrad technicians in Germany,” said Westmoreland.
“We’re going to be trying a nrew setup direction during the test session on Friday as a result. With four days to practice and refine the bike, I think we can have a really strong start to the 2014 season.”
