BSB Brands Hatch, Free Practice One Results | Kyle Ryde led the way from Bradley Ray in the first session

Kyle Ryde is on a mission to close down Bradley Ray's Championship lead as he topped the opening Practice session of the weekend.

In Free Practice One, it was Kyle Ryde and the OMG Nitrous Competitions Racing squad that led the way at Brands Hatch as they look to close down the Championship lead.

Bradley Ray was 0.148 seconds behind his title rival as he ended up in second place on the Raceways Yamaha machine.

Christian Iddon had a promising Free Practice One session as he finished in third place on the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki.

After a difficult opening few rounds of the British Superbike season, Danny Kent was on the pace in the opening session at Brands Hatch as he finished in fourth.

Leon Haslam was the top Ducati rider as he was in fifth place on the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing machine. Rory Skinner was 0.005 seconds behind Haslam as he finished sixth on the Cheshire Mouldings Ducati.

Tommy Bridewell was the top Honda rider as he took the CBR1000RR-R to seventh place on the timesheets.

Both AJN Steelstock Kawasaki riders ended the opening session of the weekend inside the top ten as Max Cook was in eighth place.

Honda Racing UK and DAO Racing Honda riders, Andrew Irwin and Lee Jackson, completed the top ten as they ended up in ninth and tenth places.
