Bradley Ray led the opening session of the weekend at Donington Park on the Raceways Yamaha.
The start of the second round of the 2025 British Superbike Championship saw Bradley Ray take top spot at Donington Park. The 2022 British Superbike Champion led the way in Free Practice One.
Leon Haslam found himself in second place on the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing machine. The 2019 British Superbike Champion was 0.045 seconds behind Ray at the end of the first session of the weekend.
In third place was Rory Skinner on the Cheshire Mouldings Ducati. After a difficult opening round for Skinner, the 23-year-old will be hoping for a better weekend at Donington.
Kyle Ryde was back in play in the opening session at Donington Park. The OMG Nitrous Competitions Racing rider ended Free Practice One in fourth place and was the second of the three Yamaha riders.
Rounding out the top five was the Hager PBM Ducati rider Glenn Irwin. Two second places at Oulton Park left Irwin third in the standings and he will be hoping to take his first win of the year this weekend.
The top Honda rider in Free Practice One was the Send My Bag Racing IWR rider of Scott Swann. He ended the first session of the weekend in sixth place on the Honda CBR1000RR-R.
Tommy Bridewell had a better start to his weekend as he ended the opening session in seventh place on the Honda Racing UK machine.
The top Kawasaki rider at the end of Free Practice One was Max Cook as he ended the session in eighth place.
Danny Kent was able to put the third and final Yamaha on the grid inside the top ten as he ended up in ninth.
Completing the top ten was the two-time British Superbike Champion, Josh Brookes, on the DAO Racing Honda.
