The British Superbike Championship leader, Kyle Ryde, led the way in Free Practice One at Donington Park.

On Friday morning, it was Kyle Ryde who topped the British Superbike timesheets in the Free Practice One session for the Nitrous Competitions Racing Team.

Josh Brookes was on the podium at Donington Park earlier in the season and was back on the pace in Free Practice One as he ended up in second for DAO Racing Honda.

The Hager PBM Ducati squad ended the morning in third place, with Scott Redding taking the Ducati Panigale V4 R into third place.

Danny Kent was the second Yamaha rider to feature inside the top five as he ended the morning in fourth place on the McAMS Yamaha.

Rounding out the top five was the MasterMac Honda rider, Charlie Nesbitt. The Honda rider is still searching for his first podium of the season, and it looks like he will be in the fight this weekend.

Just outside of the top five was the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing rider, Leon Haslam, who ended the morning in sixth place.

After a difficult weekend at Cadwell Park, Rory Skinner will want to bounce back at Donington Park and was in seventh place at the end of Free Practice One.

Max Cook was the top Kawasaki rider at the end of the opening British Superbike Practice session as he ended up in eighth place.

Glenn Irwin was the third Yamaha rider to feature inside the top ten as he ended up in ninth for the Nitrous Competitions Racing squad.

Completing the top ten was the Honda Racing UK rider, Andrew Irwin, who is coming off the back of multiple podiums at Cadwell Park.
