BSB Donington Park, Race One Results | Bradley Ray takes his second win of the season

The first race of the weekend saw Bradley Ray take his second win of the 2025 British Superbike Championship.

It was a commanding win for Bradley Ray at Donington Park as he won the opening race of the weekend by 2.382 seconds. After dropping back to third, he played his cards right and pounced when he needed to and broke the field.

Kyle Ryde was able to feature on his first podium of the season for the OMG Nitrous Competitions Racing. The reigning British Superbike Champion crossed the line in second place on his Yamaha R1.

For the first time with the DAO Racing Honda squad, Josh Brookes featured on a British Superbike podium. The two-time British Superbike Champion was 4.050 seconds behind Ray, but still picked up his first trophy of the year.

Ducati featured in fourth, fifth and sixth in the opening British Superbike race of the weekend. It was Glenn Irwin and the Hager PBM Ducati squad who were just off of the podium in fourth place.

The Cheshire Mouldings Ducati squad and Rory Skinner were able to claim their best result of the season as they finished in fifth. Leon Haslam may have started from fourth place, but the Moto Rapido Racing rider crossed the line in sixth.

Christian Iddon was the top Kawasaki rider in Race One at Donington Park as he managed to cross the line in seventh on the Kawasaki ZX-10RR.

Honda Racing UK were in eighth place with Andrew Irwin in eighth place, behind Irwin was a fellow Honda rider as Joh McPhee crossed the line in ninth place on the MasterMac Honda.

Completing the top ten was Danny Kent on the McAMS Yamaha, he was 20.800 seconds behind his fellow Yamaha riders at the end of the race.
