BSB Oulton Park, Race One Results | Bradley Ray dominated the opening race of the season

Bradley Ray may have been away for two years, but on his return to British Superbikes, he dominated the opening race of the season.

From the moment that the lights went out, it was the Bradley Ray show at Oulton Park. The 2022 British Superbike Champion returned to the top step of the podium for the first time since Donington Park in 2022.

Glenn Irwin fought through the order and managed to get himself up on the podium. Qualifying was a disaster for Irwin as he started from 15th on the grid, but turned it around and finished in second.

Leon Haslam returned to a British Superbike podium as he finished in third place on the Moto Rapido Ducati.

On his debut with the Bathams AJN Racing BMW, it was a strong showing for Storm Stacey. It was an incredible race as he held off the reigning Champion and finished in fourth.

The reigning British Superbike Champion, Kyle Ryde, could only manage a fifth-place finish for the OMG Nitrous Competitions Racing squad.

The top Honda rider was Tommy Bridewell in sixth place on the Honda Racing UK machine. He was closely followed by Charlie Nesbitt on the MasterMac Honda.

The DAO Racing Honda duo were once again together on the timesheets as they crossed the line in eighth and ninth. Lee Jackson finished in eighth, and Josh Brookes was just behind his teammate in ninth.

Completing the top ten was the 2015 Moto3 World Champion, Danny Kent. The McAMS Yamaha rider appeared to run into tyre issues as he went backwards during the race.
