BSB Thruxton, Free Practice One Results | Danny Kent topped the opening session of the weekend

Dannt Kent and the McAMS Yamaha squad have carried their positive form from Brands Hatch to Thruxton.

After his best weekend of the season at Brands Hatch, Danny Kent was back on form in Free Practice One at Thruxton as he topped the timesheets for the McAMS Yamaha squad.

Completing a Yamaha 1-2 in the opening session of the weekend was the Nitrous Competitions OMG Racing rider, Kyle Ryde.

Billy McConnell claimed his only British Superbike podium in 2024 at Thruxton and was back on the pace in Hampshire in Free Practice One as he finished in third place on the Honda.

Max Cook's first and only British Superbike podium came in Race Two at Thruxton last year. This season, he has started his weekend in fourth place for the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki squad.

Home hero Tommy Bridewell was inside the top five in Free Practice One as he finished in fifth for the Honda Racing UK squad.

Just outside of the top five was AJN Steelstock Kawasaki rider, Christian Iddon. The #21 missed out on the top five by 0.072 seconds, but started his weekend on a positive note.

The British Superbike Championship leader, Bradley Ray, was 0.401 seconds behind Kent at the end of the opening session as he ended up in seventh place.

Former British Superbike Champions, Josh Brookes and Leon Haslam, started their weekends in the top ten as they ended up in eighth and ninth place.

Completing the top ten was Charlie Nesbitt, the MasterMac Honda rider was declared fit on Friday morning and was immediately on the pace.
