MCE British Superbike exile Barry Burrell will return to the series at Oulton Park after a successful test with Chris Walker’s Quattro Plant Kawasaki team at the Cheshire circuit saw him sign for the team.
The squad split with Danny Buchan after Brands Hatch and have replaced him with the Northumbria rider, who has been biding his time in the German IDM series.
"Following a successful test at Oulton Park we are pleased to welcome Barry to the team for the next round of the championship. Barry was always on our radar and now to have him onboard is a welcome surprise and hopefully both the team and Barry can work well together and move forward,” said team boss Pete Extance.
“Barry will need some time on the bike having not ridden the new generation Kawasaki, but we feel he should be up to speed and competitive ready for qualifying and race day.”
