Leon Camier will return to the scene of his British Superbike horror crash at Cadwell Park this weekend – and insists he is looking forward to it.
The Airwaves Ducati man suffered horrendous injuries when his Bike Animal Honda Fireblade spat him off at the top of the mountain and Camier was airlifted to hospital.
“I know it might seem strange after my accident last year, but I’m looking forward to going back to Cadwell Park," said the youngster.
"It will be good to get on with racing and put last year’s crash behind me once and for all. It’s a circuit that I like and that I believe the Airwaves Ducati 1098R can be competitive around, but it will definitely help if the weather remains consistent.
"At every track we visit I have to spend some time getting used to riding the Airwaves Ducati, but getting a good set-up on the bike is made that much more difficult when the conditions keep on changing. I think that if the weather can stay either wet or dry for the majority of the weekend we should be in good shape.”
