CADWELL BSB: DON'T FORGET THE CHARITY CYCLE RACE

The quiet scenic track of Cadwell Park is soon to be hit by the madness that has now become the annual CJ Riders Fund Cadwell Park Cycle Race. Once the Superbikes finish on track for qualifying, a sight beyond belief is unfolded. Grown men in lycra suits, dresses or even dressed as Shrek descend upon the track to participate in one of the most talked about events of the year!

The Cadwell Park Cycle Race first began in 2006 and has since become extremely popular, there are some, a small minority who take to the track fully prepared and raring to go, but there are others, the majority, who see it as an opportunity to dress up, pull out their bicycle from the 1960's, don a water-gun and hit the 1-mile short track for four gruelling laps of the tough Mountain Course!

In previous years the Cycle Race has been well attended by public, riders and also team managers making an appearance. Eugene Laverty, Christian Iddon, James Hillier, James Whitham, Rob McElnea, Dan Cooper, Peter Hickman to name but a few have all competed. World Supersport contender Josh Brookes, who has taken the overall win since it began might be back on the track to defend his title and take the hat trick in 2008. (as long as he can make the return trip back from Australia in time!)

Limited 300 places, first come first serve!

Registration is available on Sunday at the CJ Stand and from 2pm onwards on Sunday at the Paddock Port-a-cabin the locations at Cadwell are as follows:
