Christian Iddon returned to the podium at Thruxton as he secured a third-place finish in Race Three after battling with Danny Kent and Bradley Ray.
Throughout the weekend at Thruxton, Christian Iddon and the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki squad had been running at podium pace.
However, in Races One and Two, the 40-year-old missed out on the podium with seventh and fourth-place finishes.
But in the final race of the weekend, Iddon was in a fight with Danny Kent and Bradley Ray and was able to finish third. This was his first podium of the season and his first podium for the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki squad.
"It was a great race, and I got a good start which always helps," Iddon said after returning to the podium.
"You can pass people quite easily around here, so it is not like the start is desperately important. But to save tyres it is easier to start at the front, so you don't burn them out passing people.
"Brad was setting a really good pace. About mid-race, I looked at my board, and it still looked like there was a reasonably sized group.
"I wanted to get to the front, I thought I would be able to stretch everyone out, to be honest. But I was really struggling up the back straight. I could get the run easily; in fact, my bike was like cheating out the back, it was so good.
"All the way from Turn Eight down to Church, I had so much more grip than everyone else. The guys did an amazing job setting the bike up.
"But in the run-up to the final chicane, I did not really have the speed to get by. I could get along side, but not do a great deal with it.
"Brad was super good on the brakes. I got by on one lap, and he got me straight back on the next lap down the straight.
"But then he upped the momentum and dropped a couple of tenths on lap time, which I was quite happy with. We started to stretch the group, which is good when the tyres come into play.
"I struggled a bit with the front tyre, but I think everyone was with the hot temperatures. In the first complex, I was really struggling with the front.
"I could have done without Danny passing me, cause I think I would have had a good go at Brad. But Danny rode a superb race."
