Former British Superbike star John Crockford has been described as being in a 'serious but stable' condition this morning after his horror crash in the Brands Hatch National Superstock 1000 final yesterday.
Crockford is sedated and had an operation last night on injuries to his diaphragm. He has other, multiple injuries including a fractured pelvis.
Marshall Neill, who crashed in a separate incident in the same race, has a stable neck fracture and will be having an operation on his left leg (tibial plateau) this morning.
We will update their situations as soon as we can.
