Wigan youngster Josh Daley has announced his move to the Motorpoint British Supersport Evo Championship for the 2014 season with the Race-Tronic Kawasaki team.
Daley has celebrated success at club level, winning the 2012 Formula 400 Championship and also with the Aintree MCRC scoring the 2012 Aintree Silver Lion Trophy. Daley ended last season with a points scoring round in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship and is gearing up for his debut test on the Supersport machine.
"I am really looking forward to the move into the Supersport Evo class; I know it will be a big learning curve for me but I think I will learn faster and benefit from the extra races and time on track. I want to improve throughout the season and building on my results and if I can do that then I will be happy," said Daley, speaking from inside his hair.
"We have been already working hard with the bike ready for our first test in March but I have been out on the motocross bike in the meantime as I wish the season started tomorrow! This will be the biggest season of my career so far and I can't wait to get started."
