Danny Kent returned to winning ways in the British Superbike Championship with two race wins on Sunday at Thruxton.

In Round Six of the 2025 British Superbike Championship, Danny Kent had his best weekend with McAMS Racing and in the Championship.

The 2015 Moto3 World Champion arrived in Hampshire off the back of two podium finishes at Brands Hatch last time out, but had his sights set on the top step.

In the opening race of the weekend, Kent finished in second place after not being able to pass Kyle Ryde in the latter laps.

However, on Sunday, Kent was able to visit the top step of the podium, not once, but twice. The McAMS Racing Yamaha rider claimed victory in Races Two and Three after showing impressive racecraft.

"What a race, it just stems from Friday really," Kent said after the final race at Thruxton.

"We worked so hard in Free Practice One and Two on endurance and trying to make the tyre last, it has paid off massively.

"In that last race, I sat in fourth place for the majority of it and tried to save as much tyre as possible. Then, in the last three laps, I started making my way forward.

"On the last lap, I tried to exit Church as fast as possible, but I could feel my bike being pulled back, which normally means someone is up the inside of you.

"I decided I would brake as late as I possibly could into the chicane, because I knew that if he passed me, he would run wide. Which is exactly what happened.

"His trajectory was running wide, so I opened the throttle when I normally would still be braking just so I could jump in front.

"What an amazing weekend for me and McAMS Racing Yamaha, I am so pleased. I believe we have now moved into third in the Championship, which is great for me, McAMS Racing, and Yamaha."
